Knife name: BURNHAM – LIMITED EDITION –
Named after the ventures of the famous tracker Frederick Russell Burnham (1861-1947), this light and handy knife was born from the collaboration between CAD (Coltelli Artigianali Donati), a talented Italian knifemaker, and Kyt Lyn Walken. The motto in Latin, “Videre nec videri” (Seeing without being seen) is a tribute not only to Mantracking, but also to the 185th Parachute Regiment Reconnaissance Objective Acquisition “Folgore” (RRAO), special forces department of the Italian Army. This knife is suitable for carving work and for lighting fires, in fact, thanks to the detail in the bottom of the handle, it can be used to rub your firesteel while leaving the knife safely in its sheath.
The small grooves (in this case in centimeters but it is possible to have them in inches) are used to measure macro and micro traces and to have a unit of measurement always at easy reach.
Burnham is a knife with multiple purposes, able to be used in the sphere of Survival, Bushcraft, Man and Animal Tracking in an immediate and effective way.
